I am happy to introduce Zachary Nelson as our new Chastity Educator. Zach will be joining me in the classroom for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Zach hails from Pennsylvania where he studied history at Eastern University. It was there where he met his wife, Ciara. He and Ciara were both born, raised, and married in a Protestant faith tradition.  However, through professors and close friends, they came to learn and love St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.  The Catholic understanding of marriage and sexuality and the grace of the Holy Spirit brought them and their son, Andrew into the Catholic Church in 2018.

Zach is very passionate about sharing his Catholic faith with others and is excited to join in the mission of PCE,

“I am thrilled to encourage students to cultivate the virtue of chastity so they can experience true freedom and love, especially amidst the lies that popular culture wishes young people to believe.”

Zach continues to grow in his Catholic faith and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Theology through the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He enjoys reading and learning about how the Catholic Church can engage the modern world.  He is excited to use this knowledge to inspire youth.
